A Global Leader
in HPC Carbon Capture

The CATACARB Process is a state-of-the-art CO₂ removal and capture technology utilizing hot potassium carbonate (HPC) solution available for license from Eickmeyer & Associates, Inc. Since the first implementation in 1961, over 200 CATACARB units have been constructed around the globe enabling a variety of industries to selectively remove CO₂ from mixed-composition gas streams. Each day, CATACARB units remove over 50,000 tons of CO₂.

Over 65 years of expert
design and support for 200+ Units in 35 Countries

We continue to advance the CATACARB Process through 65+ years of design experience, HPC solution additive development, and world-class support. Our proprietary assortment of HPC additives include various corrosion inhibitors, absorption/stripping catalysts, and antifoams. These additives give flexibility to inlet gas conditions and compositions and allow smaller equipment of carbon steel construction for lower capital costs. Furthermore, our additives provide reliable operation, low steam/energy consumption, and low CO₂ content of the treated gas.
